The dinner scene gets really uncomfortable as you state, but I also love the tender moments (such as the simple hug between Downey and Hunter following that scene) mixed in and the little things that remind me of my own family (my grandparents bringing along an extra coat just in case or showing me a newspaper clipping they’d saved just to share).
