Movies like that don’t happen all that often, so when they do, it’s worth noting. If Tarsem Singh made more of his own scripts, he could easily be as fascinating as Terry Gilliam.

I would say no. There is nothing special about the 3D it’s not horrible like “Clash of the Titans”, but just not worth the weight of the glasses.

The plot is like nails to a chalkboard, but the final action scene is well worth a watch. If you like Tarsem’s visual style you may be disappointed with a few throttled visual elements as well, again he makes up for that in the final moments of the film.

I’ll have to catch up with “Immortals” soon because, as you know, they didn’t screen it for the press in KC. I’ve seen a lot of online carping about the two competing Snow White projects (with Tarsem getting the brunt of the negativity) after people have seen the trailers, but I have chosen not to watch trailers for either — especially since I know I’ll be seeing them both either way! He’s not writing it, so I’m less excited than I would be about it otherwise, though…
