The wife is on the computer and we see the Overstock website full screen for about 2 seconds. Also, a character talks to his wife about getting a Chevy because they are supposed to be the best. It goes on and on. Not a great movie, but worth watching if you are researching product placement.

Neutrogena was branded throughout the competition in the movie and the event was referred to as the Neutrogena classic. Our company negotiated the deal without a placement fee.

Mr. Potato Head, Slinky Dog, Etch-a-Sketch, etc. Mattel jumped on board for Toy Story 2 and gladly let them showcase Barbie.

If you notice all the product placement in it accompanies horrific violence

Like in Tarantino movies, Red Apple Cigarettes and Big Kahuna Burger are used in several films. I think there is a poster for Red Apple Cigarettes in Kill Bill vol. 1.

My first thoughts were Wayne’s World and Josie and the Pussycats. Not sure how true it is, but I read on the interweb that none of the ads in Josie and the Pussycats were paid for. If that is the case, it is the best representation of mocking product placement ever.
